Can you get done for bad language these days? Apart from his words I couldn't see any evidence whatsoever of 'road rage'.

Totally agree - maybe he could be done for using a cellphone in a car though

Using a cellphone and reckless use. They will go after him.
Watch it with the sound off and tell me what was reckless.

Road rage .......?
not really, but in the end he is cutting it a bit fine...
oncoming car and he is filming the cyclists..
only manages passing manouvre just in time...
maybe he is cutting cyclists off..?

wet bus ticket coming his way...
that will learm him....

So IF it's a phone the villagers that complain about the 1 kph tolerance are out with their pitchforks for the driver doing something illegal, yet if its a camera it's OK, or for that matter if it's the rozza or a truckie, 4x4er etc talking into their walkie it's also ok, but big no no for your phone.

Interesting logic that sheeple follow there sometimes.

Wow that facebook page is Awesome, LIKED and SHARED :)

Yes there is a few silly comments in there but if the select small portion of the cycling community that is the problem wants to know what the problem is then they only have to look at that page.
Note there seems to be zero pics of normal commuter cyclists wearing workclothes, only the Lance Armstrong wannabees.
I note the complainants are staying anonymous, has anyone here whose ever been charged via *555 type case abale to say if they get to identify the complainant/witness or not? How do you know a complainant/witness is legitimate and not someone who knows you/has a grudge etc.

What an absolute whingefest from a bunch of Womans day subscription holders that page (mostly) is.

So a guy is minding his own business drafting, or a potential 'next NZ olympic gold medalist' is out training on a bloody country road. You people must lose your shit when you come upon dudes mowing the side of the road or a tractor moving between paddocks.

Harden the fuck up New Zealand.

Way different from some plonker on a bike or in a vehicle holding up traffic in the middle of a busy city or a gaggle on the highway, and even then, how long until you're 'inconvenienced' by something else up the road anyway?

I recently moved back to NZ after 5 years working in Victoria saving my $$$. So happy to be back, came across the same issues in Melbourne. Over weight lycra wearing mobs of middle aged wantabe road cyclists looking for the next trendy cafe to stop at for a latte. They ride slow, in big groups, 2 or three wide and create a hazard on the road. What is more frustrating is their Arrogance, no one Polices cyclists, they have no rules but expect everyone else using and paying for the roads to keep them safe, when THEY are the hazard.

On the other hand, I respect and make an effort to give space to those Compeditive, Fitness or Commuting Cyclists on the Road. They are usually riding fast, alone or in a small group and are easy to pass with space given. While saving for my Kawasaki I was commuting to work, 10 min Cycle or 30 min walk. I made an effort to use the quiet roads in town for a nicer ride and avoid buses (don't get me started on buses) these people have a completely differant attitude on the road.
