Its hard to believe that a stolen bike can turn any sort of profit worth the damage to the owner that it causes.
Would be nice to read about a bike thief receiving life threatening injuries in an unfortunate accident.

It really would.
Better still to see a proper Judge award damages and costs to the owner from the bloody mongrel who stole it, regardless of how long they're going to be laid up after their unfortunate accident, naturally to come directly out of their govt funded pension scheme at a rate that makes it worthwhile for the owner, not a dollar per week.
Make it fucking hurt.

Maungatapu and Mount Maunganui are not the same place.

Hey Scorp thanks for posting
The bike was parked in the driveway of 1 Plover Place in Maungatapu. it is three turns off any main road and is a no exit street. leads me to think it wasnt just a drive by and "hey look a bike lets take it". Its a mates house that i dont visit often. i have taken the bike there less than 5 times in the last year and only stayed the night twice. the bike was taken between 3 and 5am.
Here is a better picture.
Has a tank guard sticker that says ninja and has some black tape on the seat.
