Hi guys. Is there anyone in Auckland with a spare activation key for Power Point/Office. My daughter needs Power Point to complete assignments for her degree this year and is a poor, student. I thought I had one , but no. Thanks in advance.

Kingsoft Office http://www.kingsoftstore.com/ is free (or paid with a few extra features) Has apps compatible with word, excel, powerpoint. Can save in many different formats including docx, xlsx, pptx, etc. If it had an exchange compatible e-mail client it would be near perfect

made by the chinese govt so probably no more backdoors that the NSA put into MS Office

Just a thought but its quite common for educational institutions to provide students with free or well subsidised software. Just in case that has been overlooked has she asked? Its also possible they have web computing services. Otherwise the open office stuff is pretty good and the files are compatible with MS products.

Thanks guys, we are all sorted now. I should have said it has to be Microsoft licensed. The free downloads are not able to be used under her degree requirements.
