Sorry, I just looked them up in the phone book. No wonder the buggers were going to charge me $450 to do my fork seals.

Go into street and sport, they are about 100m up the road from honda on the same side. Just before cycletreads. Really good guys in there, no bullshit and good prices.

Utterly gobsmacked! I got Racetech forksprings, heavier oil, and new fork and dust seals installed in the TRX850 by my friendly dealer, for less than that quoted price for fork seals. What the hell are Casbolts smoking???

I've got some CBR250 fork seals lying around and I'll put them for only $400.. Bargain....

I have no idea on how to do fork seals (I should learn) so I asked them for a quote and got $450 out of them. Thats ONLY if I bring the forks in, they didn't say what it would cost to take my bike in.
Bastards, and I need new fork seals ASAP. :(

FUCK!!! what rip off cunts... at worst $80 for OEM fork and dust seals and an hours labour to put them in if you roll the bike in.. and maybe $20 for oil.. so worst case scenario $80+$60+$20= $160.. Maybe 2hours labour.. if you're really unlucky..

Nah try $50 for oil and seals (don't need new dust seals) and then an hour's labor max. $100 i reckon.
Sniper, go into street and sport and they will do it for ya, cheap as. I'm never setting foot in casbolts again.

completely agree about casbolts. I am restoring some honda heritage and they jsut couldnt give two shits.
the bad news from their point of view is that they are the Ducati dealers as well. If they'd been nicer I could have bought a new Monster S2R or 1000DS off them.
