Hi there KB land. My faithful yammy has started to use a bit of oil, I have just heard the cam chain rattle on start up, and she's sounding..... well tired, as you would expect from 100,000kms. She is however still strong, gets regular oil and filter changes and doesn't blow smoke and I want to keep her.
Anyone can recommend a specialist to undertake a top and bottom rebuild?
cheers

Ouch $

Maybe, maybe not. Might just be a chain and associated bits and a hone and rings. Relap valves?

I'd be interested in the $ you get quoted.

Nice to see someone keep a bike - I hold mine way too long, but if you hold them long enough they regain value as a motorcycle of interest hahah

My fzr had a cracked sleeve when we rebuilt it. It only blew smoke when it got hot(crack opened up).
If your going to pull it down do everything is my only advice.

I like the way you roll brother......so I'll just strip her down and see what's the guts. I know Reecy will try and get me on a red bike......but na. We can rebuild her.
