58km/hr in a 50km zone......
So that proves it once and for all......a 650cc Hyosung CAN go faster than 40km/hr with a fat bastard like me on it.....even if I was going downhill with the wind behind me.
A $30 fine is worth every cent to shut up the doubters and nay sayers :bleh:

Haha! The Missus got two in 8 minutes the other week! Must be a record of some sort? Same camera car got her going and coming so that was $60! Ouch!

I'm surprised you found the time to go for a ride what with all the posting you do on here.

Off to get a picture frame to hang it on the wall?
Surely it must be worth doing that.

My last speeding ticket cost me $12. I had to borrow the money off my parents. Got told if I got another ticket, the bike would be locked away.

I thought the +1 km/h period has now ended, and they are back to 10km/h or is that still on to the end of the month?

Commiserations fat brother - such a fine margin in real speak - unfortunately a large margin in authoritarian speak - you can never get that money back - never!

Is it still $30 for 108 in a 100 zone?
Or is it more since you're travelling at a higher speed anyway?

Speeding fines increase progressively from $30 for speeds less than 10 km/h over the limit, to a maximum fine of $630 for speeds up to 50km/h over the limit.
At more than 40 km/h above the speed limit you could also get a 28-day licence suspension.
At more than 50 km/h over the limit you could be charged with careless, dangerous or reckless driving.
:)
So yes 109kph is still $30

I'd stick to 139 myself. Instant 28 day ban for 40km/h over now.

Being 16% over the speed limit is not so clever.

They can ticket you for 1 kph over whenever they like, they just had a campaign saying they were going to target it specifically was all. My friend got done for 53-54 10 years ago just before an 80 sign, in a standard nana 1.8 Galant *shrug*
