Went to Meremere bike day last year and they had 4-5 of the Harley dragsters racing. I don't think one of them got under 13 seconds, certainly not under 12 seconds. Strange but not one of them there this year?
Yes they are capable of sub 10 seconds but a lot of work is required from what you buy off the shop floor.
Thank you again for the red rep and abuse.

Not specifically - it was a work in progress that got delayed by my move back to NZ

How much were you thinking for the complete motor?

I don't think
This is clearly evident from your earlier post.

Bullshit, again.
Thank you again for the red rep and abuse.
No need to thank me, I like to think of it as doing a community service.

Fucking bollocks. A V-Rod Destroyer will run sub 10 sec 1/4's with a 1/2 trained monkey on it. I also have a mate with a 120R Fatbob (all 320kgs of it) that he's put down the strip at 10.2 at his first ever drag meet as well. Soon as he learns how to launch the thing he'll do nines on it. A mildly tuned VTR1000 will get it's beans against such bikes.

Thanks for your interest - I'd like to have a decent try at moving the whole lot before I start selling off bits and pieces.

Fair enough, I can respect that. Let me know if you end up with any bits.
Cheers

Im doing math and 10k total less 6k bike makes the parts (4k) worth 2/3rds the amount of the bike itself(4/6 is 2/3). Ratio for spare parts seems wrong.
Maybe if you need get 10k you should value the bike at 8 and spares at 2.
Now theres a issue. Could average joe build a bike like this for 8k. Remember its only running mid/low 10s and almost any 2000 inline 4 1 litre sports bike with a long swingarm would be able to run faster. I think my Sp1 was running 10.2 with no mods.
Is the class its in for carby V twins only?
