The End

We've all heard it many times before and all know to do it but how many of us actually check our bike regularly?
I was riding home at 9pm tonight and came across a chap on a Yamaha Scorpio whose rear brake light was not working. Not just the brake part, but the whole bulb was not shining. It was nearly completely dark and you could not see the rider or bike at all from behind.
I signalled him to pull over with my hazards and various arm motions and we checked it out. The issue? Loose bulb!
All it took was a light touch and the bulb was back in place and the light came on.
So it does pay to regularly check your bike and it could very well save your life.
Ride on and ride safe.
