So it turns out trawling through Ebay for parts is an exhausting and long-winded process. So many suppliers advertise 'Universal' parts but they sure as hell don't look universal!! Bastard salesmen...
Are any of you kind and well-mannered gentlemen familiar with a popular chain that supplies Honda motorcycle parts nation-wide? Or can at least point me in the direction of a non-OEM supplier who makes parts that actually FIT on a damn bike?
2007 Honda VTR 250
Engine No: MC1SE1540391
Chassis: MC331200388
I'm after:
Ignition barrel, key
Tank cap
Headlight assembly
Front indicators
And yes, I'm a mechanical 'noob'
Edit: David Silver spares did the trick but they bring in their goods from Europe and then send it on to you if they don't hold the stock... Very expensive!

Cheers! I'll give him a bell tomorrow. In the mean time I've bitten the bullett and bought a cheap ignition barrel + seat lock set from Ebay for $50... Can't complain at that price. There's no way the fuel cap will fit but I want to get this bike fired up. On a side note anyone know how to hotwire a bike? :p
Also unsure if the bike was released in the US, I assume it would be under the 'Interceptor' guise.

ignition and tank cap are pretty standard among honda's aren't they? I have a set of those from a vfr400 nc30 that I'm pretty sure would fit. OEM. just wouldn't match your seat/helmet lock or whatever you have obviously.
how do the indicators mount? I would imagine they are pretty universal?
Edited - a quick google says the tank and ignition are interchangable between the vtr250 and vfr400

So the standard ignition barrel connector has 4 wires on the VTR. A lot of the generic (for VTR) ignition barrels on Ebay only have 3 port male plugs for their barrels. I've ended up ordering a non-OEM one for a VTR1000 (non HISS), however this means that the fuel tank cap is a mismatch and will not fit. The one that goes on my VTR is a 'dump in' model, as opposed to one that screws into the tank like on the one-thousand.
Indicators - I'm unsure. The VTR has a bracket on each side running off the headlight mount that has a screw slot from UNDERNEATH the indicator. I've ordered some ones that look close enough to OEM but I'll figure out how to mount them when they get here I suppose... Otherwise replacement indicators from the UK (OEM) are about $120 for the pair + shipping

Alrighty, so as it turns out the 'generic' indicators do in fact mount on the headlight bracket 'ok'

However they do not mount in the same place as the OEM indicators, just FYI
