Suzuki a100 ticking sound from top end

Hey, finally put a muffler on my Suzuki a100, now I can here a ticking sound from the top end, any ideas of what it is? Bike is a 2 stroke.

Take the muffler off ... and you wont notice it ...

Yea your most likely right there, but now the circlip broke while it was running an damaged the piston and cylinder head :facepalm: ...... the problems never end.
