Received an inquiry from a friend of a friend located in South Australia planning on coming to New Zealand to ride in the North Island for about ten days in September this year inquiring about renting a DR650, KLR or similar.
There is potentially a pary of three blokes and yes I've indicated I'm willing to lend my DR to one of them
Any positive experiences / advice we might share appreciated
Thanks in advance

An aussie Gal, and american guy are arriving Wednesday, and they have hired a baby strom from over on the north shore somewhere.
They are here for about 3 weeks so I might be able to give you their feedback after that..

If you are keen try this.....BUT

Wouldn't go there if you paid me....
KTM owner with a poor attitude and endeavours to try and charge the renter for dents, scratches on a vehicle that were there prior, then threatens action until you challenge.
I had an accident in my work vehicle, needed a rental....As it was Fieldays, I was limited with options.
All started well until I returned it. Then the phone calls started.

Thanks Mark - sounds like one to avoid - cheers Stephen (hope you're enjoying your Strom)
