Cuts out and death persues

kk, bike goes hard when its going but itll cut out and die and then it wont start again for a wee while, battery flats out, its getting no charge~?

people have suggested coil,rectifier,alt,

anybody have similar problem? once i get some good feedback ill start getting the bits i need from wreckers, cheers guys, much appreciated :)

Not sure if this is relevent but I had a suzuki bandit (250cc) that would do the same thing. It would cut out on long climbs with wide throttle openings. It would always start again soon after. Not sure what the problem was exactly but a mechanic traced it back to fuel starvation.
