...wow...the 2015 SOT was unbelievably, wow...that's about all I can muster for now...still blown away by the size of the fields, the racing, the hot and dry and the wet and the slippery, the Brittens doing skids and so many people...wow...Joh Hannah on his Bonnie out with the Brittens...and I'm not even a BEARS freak...wow...

.Joh Hannah on his Bonnie out with the Brittens.
It's not a Bonnie, think it's a Thunderbird, I have some pics of it here somwhere from very early SOT events, it was a very quick bike back in its day

Went over Saturday for a look, thoroughly enjoyed it, so many bikes amazing.
What blew up half way down the main straight in the last race? That was an amazing amount of smoke to come out
of a bike. Wouldn't have wanted to be behind that :shit:

Your attempts at wheelstands were crap compared to Andrew

I'll echo the sentiments here - was there for Friday through Sunday, bloody awesome meeting. Glad I made the call not to go to Paeroa!
And yes, Stroudy put on a fine show!

Fantastic event. Family friendly, nice and relaxed (walk through pits etc), great racing (that pile-up on the final corner in the first Saturday race, ouch!). Britten tent display was top notch. Food and drink was very reasonably priced and nice to have sandwiches as well as pies.
Only "constructive criticism" (whinge) is that the programme was A) scant on info about approx time for each race, and B) silent altogether when the Brittens were being taken out.

can you jump on a bike you haven't ridden for many many years, worth a fucking fortune, and be as good as Andrew Stroud who is
not only competing at the same event and having track time
ridden that same bike a number of times of the last couple of weeks, and many times in recent year
the current outright motorcycle lap record holder at the same track.

bullshit.........i was a quarter/third of the way down the main straight and you definetly tried a wee bounce to try and pick it up at least once or twice that i and a number of others saw and commented on at the time........you did get it up out of the dipper?................once:clap:
Was a great day Saturday my only gripe being the lack of programs at 10 am when we arrived. How many did they print ffs.

I sure as hell was not going to screw up on it dude, just the honour of being asked to ride it again, gave me a hard on
