Is anyone keen to help out at the National Points rounds in January? No, NOT marshalling!
Tim and Joan Gibbes run the electronic timing at the racing, and are short of a helper for each of the South Island rounds. It would involve being a bit of a "gopher" - helping set up the system, a bit of running around distributing results onto the notice boards, helping hand out the transponders to the riders and collecting them back in at the end of the racing. A bit of computer knowledge would be useful as well, "just in case".
Dates are:
6/7/8 Jan Teretonga
13/14/15 Jan Levels
20/21/22 Jan Ruapuna
Ideally it would be helpful to be there some/all of the Friday as they generally set up the system and test it out during the free practice day. However if it was only the Sat/Sun you could attend then that would be okay too.
