Had the pleasure of riding through Matiere the other day and then over the Okahukura Saddle Road. Really liked the saddle road apart from the loose stones on most corners which seems to be the result of the recent re-sealing...

Needs a good sweeping...

Seems to be the new (low) standard everywhere. No more sweeping up the detritus..just leave it to be wiped off by vehicles..
