Hi,
Recently moved here and in the process of building up a 600track bike.
Would be very keen to give bucket racing a go as seems to be a few more events in our area and hopefully a good introduction to racing in NZ before I think about competing in super sports class!
Is the next event on the 15th?

.
Don't ride a Bucket, as soon as you do it will be so much fun and you will meet such friendly people, its so affordable and yet highly competitive that it will spoil you for big bike racing which costs so much and you get so few rides after travailing miles away from home ......

I see there's a sticky thread about an available bike for wellington...is this still available? May be able to prove my inabilities if this is the case?

If you have all the safety gear, leathers, helmet, boots, gloves, back protector - bring it along, show up early and ask for Malcolm, I can't promise anything but you might get a hoon on something.
If you want something less 'to chance' hit up Kyle, his details are in that thread.
Alternatively, just come and have a look, it's great to have a nosey around and a chinwag, if you do rock up, make sure you make yourself known.
It's $45 entry for non-members and there is a Cafe that does a great lunch and tea/coffee etc. for not much at all.

Thanks for the extra info Koba, much appreciated!
Will chuck the gear in the car when I come up and say hello will also make contact and see about something more concrete!
Look forward to heading up and checking it out!
In the meantime will have to start searching trademe for potential bikes!!
