Hi all,

Whilst seeking my new bike as a beginner, I thought to look for the gear as well.
I have no riding gear at all, so would be looking for :

Helmet
Gloves
Pants and jacket ( breathable and light as I won't take the bike if it's raining)

Can anyone recommend a shop in wellington which sells these gears at best price and quality ? I'm looking for a good quality and highly rated (safety wise) gear.

Thanks !

I reckon that Motomart and Red Baron have the best selection of gear for road bikes. If you want Harley Davidson branded stuff go to Wellington Motorcycles, Triumph branded go to Motorad. Slightly dusty and old selection - Boyles. YMMV

There are also some good online sellers - 1tonne, motomail, qmoto, there's a whole thread on online shopping (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php/155693-Motorcycle-gear-online-shops-what-is-available?highlight=online+shopping)

Leather Direct in Cuba Mall if you on budget but want new gear.
If your tall and after a crashed often 2piece race suit let me know.
I have a shark RSI helmet in mint condition with good graphics never touched the ground also.

Leathers should fit ok unless your over 110 kg and are free.
Helmet is size xl but you would want try it on.
I think it was about $500 new and is a quality helmet. Wanting $120 and I wouldn't sell it if there was any doubt about its condition.
