BIKE SOLD

2001 Aprilia RS250 Track bike

Much loved Aprilia RS250 track bike. Used for track days only (medium group) by my son. Never raced. Modified for track use as follows;

- Track fairing with Aprilia theme colours.
- Nitron Rear 2 way shock. (1 year old)
- Ohlins steering damper (new)
- Arrows Carbon pipes
- Wossner single ring pistons (about 3 hours on them) - Bores perfect. Exhaust valves fully serviced. Also have standard pistons with very little wear.
- Tyga rear sets
- Dunlop A12 tyres (plenty left)
- Standard carbs & jets etc.
- New battery.

Starts and runs very well. Handling is phenomenal with superb Brembo brakes. Very agile but stable and precise handling. Always run on best Fully synthetic oil plus 100:1 in the tank.

Also have the original road fairings, lights and reg plate etc. A bit scuffed up but repairable. Rego is on hold but the registration number still valid. Owned by us for 2 years.

Only reason for sale is my son has moved on to a 600 so we need the space.

This bike would be perfect for clubman racing or track days or could be restored to the road. A beautiful bike that's much quicker than you think.

Rode this for a couple of laps at Taupo a few months ago. Can confirm the handling and brakes are amazing! Would be all over this if I had the cash.

Better than the nc30?

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkBrakes are definitely better and i felt it handled better than my nc30 (less effort required to turn). However the Morts son preferred my nc30 so it is all down to the rider I guess!
