Not sure how the traditional Harley men will like this. I like the look of it. Only 85k before re charging tho? It will be interesting to see what the production model (if) will be like.

Won't work here - it'll be only 110v...

Do like the look of it, certainly a departure for H-D, but they did build scooters once... :scooter:

Best looking Harley yet. That range though.

not having to change gear means muppets will be able to ride them too

85kms should be enough to get to Puhoi and it can charge over a few beers.

You'll have to buy a longer extension lead...

You mean that big heavy-duty transformer out in the workshop which we used to power the 110v dishwasher won't do? - bugger!

Defeats the purpose of having a Harley if it's quiet doesn't it?

Isn't that the usual range for a Harley? ;-)

Are completely fucking useless mirrors like that even legal? Looks nice but if they can't even get something that simple right I wonder what else is off once you sit on it.

Battery tech is coming along pretty fast, won't be long till better range, even then though personally not even tempted from a practical standpoint.

An electric trials bike on the other hand...

Should be cheap on rego.....

no cylinders means no cc

how is that gonna work ....?

It will at least sound better than Harleys current offerings....

Interesting point regarding rego? Will they f you over by using a comparable hp figure? Probably. Should it be discounted as you can only use that max hp for a hour or two until it needs charging!

85km range? Yup that'll suit the Harley crowd, seeing as they don't really care about riding, just posing.

It will at least sound better than Harleys current offerings....Tie a stick to the forks so it flicks on the spokes and it'll sound almost the same.......

Some of the newer models can honk along, Got a Harley owner mate who swears his bandana got whipped off his head by the wind last Sunday afternoon while on his way up to the local coffee shop.

I guess it had to happen that a manufacturer would eventually build an electric bike lighter than their petrol models.

That's not much worse than a "real" harley...

Plus the Puhoi is within range and could charge a fiver for an extension cord...
