Works now, looks like the motard rider was day dreaming , straight through a red light.

Illegal? yes. Dangerous? No. Lucky? That depends on whether the other biker knew what they were doing or not. After all, the entire time there was no chance of a collision as the lane they were using was completely empty.
What a storm in a bloody teacup. This is why I hate the prevalence of nanny cameras.

Just had another look and I think the filming rider would be equally at fault if a collision had occurred as they performed an illegal lane change.

I don't think so, motard failed to give way and yield to traffic signal, filming rider has every right to change lanes as was through the signal, If it was a cager would you say the same?,if rider tee boned and injured someone in your family would you say the same?
We wonder why rego acc costs are so high, we have to cover pea brain riders.

so what you're doing is posting a vid of yourself (?) passing a 50km speed limit sign, doing 58 while changing lanes and then into the eighties.

motard failed to give way and yield to traffic signal,
Agreed. That why there're equally culpable.
filming rider has every right to change lanes as was through the signal,
Wrong. There was no 3 seconds of indication as required by law.
If it was a cager would you say the same?,
Definitely.
if rider tee boned and injured someone in your family would you say the same?
Yes.

It is exactly because we want to ride (and mountain climb etc.) that we need ACC - pee brained or not.
