Having completed my latest project im looking at selling my trailer.
Its home built single wheel with WOF and rego.
Wiring harness lights etc and ill source another equipment plug for your bike end also.
Its set up to bolt onto zx14r at the moment but idd imagine easy adapted to any bike with a strong subframe.
If your local ill have a look at your bike to see how easily.
Its the second single wheel trailer I have built and ill likely build another for my next project when its sold or start another bike build.
Its running a MX swingarm with suspension. It uses a universal joint arrangement up front. Frame is modified bmx. Lights are low wattage led so wont effect indicator speeds etc. Comes with luggage bags. Rear wheel is a 2008 zx14 front wheel with sticky rubber. Bearing sizes fit the smaller axel design.
I tracks true and over 20kph it seems to be weightless unless overloaded. I think it handles as good as a loaded bike while towing.
Turns heads and starts conversations every time its used.

I would say the most I have loaded was about 25kg. As for speed it is stable. One would expect a wheelie at over 200 would be possible but I wouldn't want admit that. I was considering running it at the flying quarters but im not sure I would be allowed to.

Well It would be for when we are 2 up. I care enough about my pillions not to do stupid shit with them on the back.

Was more thinking about it bouncing around. How did you bolt it to the subframe? Pillion pegs I can see.

It tracks true. I have had it at good speed over the hill and haven't had any sliding.
Its using pillion pegs for push pull effect as my bike pegs run a nearly straight line to the subframe. The up and down weight comes from hangers attached to rear bolt points of the subframe.
Some extra shots included.
Photo 2 was when it had quad bike universal. Photo 3 was when I rebuilt it with home made universal as I didn't trust the universal strength.
Suspension is soft so it absorbs bumps well. You can adjust the spring settings only on the shock or pump additional air into it as it has a air valve.
Photo 4 is early on in the suspension build. Shot was taken before the frame was further modified so its a little different now from that shot but gives you the idea.

Deemed dangerous (by current legislation) OVER 100 km/hr is what I meant to post. Exceed that at your peril.

90 is the speed limit. Pinged over 100 is dangerous.
But ... Keeping with the flow of traffic is (usually) safe ...

Bike is now gone and trailer available. It wont suit the new bike so make an offer that involves money and chips.
I will need a different design for the new bike but cant start until you supply the money.

Add says loads up to 25kg. You need a bigger trailer.
Wonder how long it will be before its on a Bandit.
Maybe ill keep the panniers from the trailer for the bandit and sell the rest. ZX14 front wheel alone is almost $300.
I added trailer cost to make and it was a grand plus time. Be lucky to get half that back. Keep the new givis and sell the wheel has same value as my asking price.

$1.00 reserve.
A lot of time and effort to make so get in and bid for a deal.
If you need freight and your a KB member ill do Main Freight for a bit extra but it will involve wrapping and pallet plus dropping off so wont be free.

Its ok ill start searching for a pallet and buy a massive roll of shrink wrap. Might need rent a trailer to deliver it to Mainfreight depo as long as he doesn't arrange a depo further away maybe in Lower hutt ill get away with under $50.00 costs plus $50.00 tardme fees to make my dollar:msn-wink:

Well since it's a KB'er, contribute some gas money, and it's likely I could haul it back first weekend September, as I'm down that way, and likely with the van.
I presume that trailer isn't some beast mossy that's bigger than a bike? ;)

Im not as dumb as I make out. Your profile pic has a joker on it.
For you I put on pallet and deliver to main freight. Any one not a regular KB no freight options.

$10 more dollars and ill cover tardme fees.
They love to charge like a wounded bull. $50.00 sales commission seems a lot at the moment.
