Hi all
I'm a new-ish rider in Auckland. Ridden farm-bikes aplenty over the years, recently took the plunge and got a licence and bike.
Riding a Hyo gt250r, often keen for a jaunt around town if there are any happening.
And does anybody do 'the nod'? I've been nodded to a few times, and nod back. Just wondering if some do it, and others don't.
Anyway, cheers.
See you on the road
Al

Nodding is a sign that the other rider wants to fight you bro.

This thread can only get worse, if it is eventually polled like that Honda thread. If the Mods of this site are worth anything, they would suitably redirect such threads, without fail.

Hey Rikard
I usually pootle about town and have been out to Huia and Piha a couple of times. The Waitaks are always a bit of fun.
I've added you, will let you know when I next head out.
Cheers, Al

Agreed, it's just like when a cat raises it hackles or hisses at you. Best to give the Nodder a wide berth.

Welcome to KB :)
People on sports bikes usually always nod/wave, but for some reason riders on Harley's don't like to wave back. Why? I don't know :o

Sweet as Al sounds good! I'm pretty much the same. Have also taken a few trips out to maraitai and up to kawakawa. There are some great corners up that way :).
