I don't see much of a difference between Putin's Russia and the USA, both are bullies using smaller, weaker nations for their by-proxy posturing.
The animosity between Poland and Russia is centuries old, not something a western perception of culture and history can necessarily allow us to fully understand.

I do find Putin's macho playing with the media amusing, but it would seem that works for his countrymen and women, so why not?
