This is the second VJ23 I have, brought as a 'parts bike', but it didn't need much to get it going and back to road/Trackday condition.

Rare electric start model, Dry clutch, and the last of the Suzuki RGV250 series. (Not the more common VJ22 which has two muffles on the right side).
70 degree motor gives more mid range punch than the 22 which is quite noticeable.
Re-designed power valves on the 23 are far more reliable.
35500 kms on the clock. Good compression, Good Motobatt battery. Starts & Runs well.
New iridium Spark plugs. New WoF. Reg on Hold.
Plenty of life in tyres.

There are a few not original parts on it, like front fairing / front indicators / mirrors.
Paint work needs some attention. Windscreen has crack that is taped up.
Front wheel has some gouges in it, from tyre irons I guess. Rear one is tidy.

Not many of these made back in 96, and few still around.
Supply of parts in Australia or further overseas.
If it doesn't sell I will continue to restore it to original as money allows.

I know someone taking bikes to Christchurch next week, so could organize cheaper transport south if interested.

Racey.

These don't come up very often! Haven't seen on trademe for years.

Yes, they are a great bike for the weekend ride, or track days. Different to what most others have.
RGV250t is the model code.
