2007 Keeway Supershadow clutch issues

hi guys i just bought a supershadow and the clutch does not engage when u pull the clutch lever in
any ideas why it could be doing this ?????

Is this happening when you first start the bike? Or, happening each time you try to ride? Then your oil needs changing.
