Now there's an eye catching thread title. Who'd have guessed that Hamilton was so short of crims that they needed to import them from Auckland?

theft, burglary, assault, fraud, etc etc....seems to be viewed, and subsequently punished, by the courts as a normal healthy component of child development. I blame Sue Bradford......cos ya gotta blame somebody

I hope they weren't on bail from ram raiding Huntly Honda last month.

Seems probable. After all this is real Honda stuff, throwing what looks to be 20+ kg of stone though a window where a 5kg rock would have the same result, or 20oz hammer.

Can't be true, we all know the police do nothing but issue speeding tickets

Friday will probably be along shortly to tell us what good cunts they are and how the shop deserved it, and how somehow the bikes belonged to all of us anyway.......

Among the charges "and a variety of driving charges" so at least the speeding offences will stick.

Typical criminals, they drove as they always do, faster than most of us, in an untidy vehicle on roads that make it very obvious who is not taking due care.
The Police got lucky here folks, no skill involved.
The seriously disturbing thing is that having done this a few times and sold the proceeds to other crims in South Dorkland that they weren't more interested in getting away and didn't kill or maim or boys/girls in blue to do so.
Glad they didn't, but for Gods sake ordinary citizens don't try taking down organised thieves, they're always gang related and you can't be protected by NZ's finest, anyone who tries eventually leaves NZ because they've been got at by the gangs or their associates.

think you got that a bit arse about face... (true Honda style) :msn-wink:
Real honda would have been the 20oz hammer, a 20kilo rock is 'real man's' stuff :bleh::bleh:

It must be pretty demoralizing for the police when the guys they nab get such pathetic sentences.

Really? My Honda easily weighs 60 kilos more than it needs to. Probably why it had a 1300 motor. To make it up the next hill.
Honda have always over engineered things.

Ps, a real man would use the right hammer for the job and know which one that was.

And pay for his own bike.
