The minimum length of search term strings is too low.

Searching the buy/sell/trade for 'Yamaha R6' searches only for 'Yamaha' because 'R6' is too short.

However most people will refer to the bike as an 'R6' and not 'YZF-R6' or some other concatenation.

I know why there is a minimum limit, but could you make it shorter for only the buy/sell/trade sub forum?

Cheers guys.

Does your search work if you put:
"Yamaha R6"
Or:
Yamaha & "R6"
Or even
"R6"

With a lot of search engines these explicit searches will work where an open search will not.

It has to be applied to the whole database and a rebuild of the indexes done.

You can search Yamaha in the make section and R6 in the model section on the "Bike Trader (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/trader.php)" area of KB.

What're you talking about exactly?

This works spot on, I didn't realise vbulletin searches could take operators etc. Thanks Fella!
