It's no accident, or coincedence.

It's called a Google Bomb.

What happens is people start linking the word to the site. The more that do it the higher it rates.

Another example that was well done, originated on /. and Groklaw, and linked the SCO website to the phrase "Litigious Bastards". The results have changed now, and the first page is all links to sites and blogs about the campaign.

Another example which google actually got sued over, was about the Clambake site coming up as number 1 when "Church of Scientology" was searched. For those who don't know Clambake is an anti-CoS site, with insider info for defectors, etc. The CoS successfully forced Google to change it. Not sure if it was a Google Bomb or just a natural occurance though.

Jeeeez what a spoil sport :whocares:

Nah haha, just jokes, that makes sense... anyidea how many times you have to link to cause the effect? Like to have Hondas Suck pop up with Honda.com at the top?
