Hiya all,
Back on a bike since my old Honda CB 750 F 19 years ago back in SA. On a Bimmer 650 CS now with a yellow plate flapping on the back as never bothered to renew the old licence. Take it easy folks. Cheers.

Lovely old bike. Mine was the model just after yours. 79 I think ? Don't seem to be many around anymore, let alone for sale.
Thanks for the welcome gents, lovely to be on a bike in this beautiful country......rain or no rain !

Hey GZP, Welcome to the site and back to biking. At least ya started back the right way with the liddle beemer, good machines.
Ya right about the country man, some great places to ride, the further south the better it gets.
Have fun n take care out there eh.

I did about 20,000 km's around Singapore/Malaysia in the company of an F2. (mine had a Yoshi kit in it. Went well ... just didn't like stopping)
It came back to NZ ... just not in MY ownership ... (I brought back a 79 GS1000EC)

Do you still have it ? Going on a nice long bike tour in Oz is on my bucket list. Many rides to do here first.

Pleasantly surprised by the Beemer. A little bit of a vibration from the single but got used to it pretty quickly. Heaps of fun to ride and is quite a quick little bugger. Would like a slightly noisier gazoompipe though !
