Hi all,

The Pacific Club is planning their upcoming 2015/16 series and they are seriously considering running a bucket racing event on the number 2 track (the back track) at Manfeild at the same time as the club is running their normal series on the main track. This bucket event could be a standalone event or it could possibly be part of the North Island Series. The entry fee would be around $40 to $50 depending on the level of interest.

The possible dates suggested for this event are 16th January and 2nd April 2016. Could we have a show of hands of riders who would be keen on attending such an event. If you're interested, could you reply to this thread (or email me at mit.resarf@gmail.com) and let us know whether you would prefer the event to be held on 16th January or the 2nd April.

Thanks everyone.

Tim

Yes, would love to. April would be our first choice, otherwise happy with the majority decision.

The April one would no doubt be close to the GP, and the January one is very close to what is normally North Island Series in Taumarunui. I may need to ponder on that, both have their merits.

For one, doing the early date means it can be North Island series, and it will need to be attended to keep steaming ahead in the points.

But also, nice to have that final practice session before the almighty GP too.

I will do some considerable drinking now to help solve this problem...

I'd be keen.

Not fussed on the date, although Jan has Kaitoke the next day, perhaps making a long trip more worthwhile for those that live north.

Argh I hate you all!

But you'll turn up right?

I'm keen but can only comit 80%, would prefer the run to Kaitoke on Sunday weekend if we are going that far anyway.

I should have space for bikes but not people if this all comes off so a people car pool elsewhere or a fly ride may work.

Been wanting to get back to back of manfeild for ages but I`m not racing for a while. If it doesn't coincide with recovery from getting my plate out I may pop up on the road bike to watch.

We're up to about 15.8 riders now including Henk's 80% commitment. 14.8 if there's no F5 class being run (which, based on the responses so far, probably won't happen). Tim

I think the hillbillies can extract their leisurely selves from the bayou to participate in said competition.

I reckon you can count on the number of fingers on my right hand.

Six...

Email sent to whom covering Hillbillies and a few extras? I don't think it was sent to me? So far the only riders I have from the palmy region are Tallis and Seymour14. Tim

I'm quite sure that by 2016 you would have sorted that big end out (and maybe the crank as well)... It just needs a bit of love.:whistle:

Sticking with the homo theme...
