""If the thought of throwing a leg over the most technologically advanced production superbike tickles your fancy and you've already been talking to an authorised Yamaha dealer about ownership, click the link below and register your details."

Boy, these guys have got a nerve. Advertising rides on my Virago 250 before even asking me if that's ok? :bash::bash:
I have a good mind not to turn up.

Might be somewhere to ride to, although I was lining up the Fat Bikers Porker run.

"As the R1 is mainly for mainly display purposes only"
Great sales pitch. Just being naughty quoting out of text.

$120 entry for Yamaha owners? Should be supporting the riders of the brand more.

As most are $200 plus these days thats cheap.

i guess by qualifying it means you can afford to pay for it if you bin it.

Never been on one of these before, do you need full leathers or riders risk?

A price difference? That is a case of Bikeism - I may need to pen a letter to the Green Party to sort this out.

Hampton will want zip together leathers, 270 degree zip. Good boots and leather gloves, full cuff.

Even if they don't you would be mad not wearing full zip together or one piece leathers and a back protector.
