It's unbelievable to me that there are still people paying for television or watching ads.

Yes, I used it for about a year. Pretty easy to set up, if you use the modem setting method any device connected in your network will have access. Seemed to work fairly well and reliable.

You should be glad, because they are the ones who end up supplying the money that makes the stuff you watch for free.
There's no way around it: it costs money to make movies, T.V. and music. Equipment costs. Actors cost. Script writers cost. The guy who makes the sandwich that the clapper board operator eats for lunch, costs.
People can argue about how much and to whom and by what method they should pay to watch or listen; but "it should be free" plus "there should be no ads" don't add up to anything sensible.

I never said it should be free, I'm just saying as long as it's free I'll go ahead and take it. I'm not going to cry that some mega millionaire production companies are slightly less wealthy because I'm not pouring my money in.
It's great that people are stupid enough to be blaster with advertising on top of monthly costs, because it enables me to watch the things I watch without those encumbrances.

When the people that make and distribute the content stop putting arbitrary (and with current technology, unnecessary) barriers to me consuming the content I wish to consume (as opposed to forcing me to pay for additional content that I don't want) - then we can have a conversation about the points you have raised.
Until then - I shall continue to Torrent with gay abandon.
