Car versus motorcycle battery trickle charger?

I thinking car batteries are [typically] lead acid. Motorcycle batteries are [typically] lead acid.

There should be any different between a "car" battery trickle charger and the "motorcycle" battery trickle charges. After all, they are "chargers" and if the battery chemistry is the same it shouldn't make any difference. The only real difference is car batteries have more cells and more capacity.

Or does it? What's the answer.

Only difference would be in the storage capacity of car vs bike batteries, so check the charge rates of a trickle charger at the lower end of the spectrum, ie when the battery is near full charge.

As an example the trickle charger I use on my bike displays charge rates as low as 0.1 amp vs the one for the car only reckons to go down to 1.0 amp according to the specs.
