I know, nothing for you guys. But I just fitted one of these newer style MOSFET regulator/rectifiers to my bike. The biggest electrical alteration I have done on it! These things are great, and I highly recommend them.

Honda have never worked this out.
Mine has had a Mosfet for ages. Seems to work.

They use transistors to control the "shunt", so you get exactly the right voltage out, regardless of the input.

Yes it will be, since they pretty much make all the regulator/rectifiers for every bike out there.
