Hi to all bikers out there. New member here, but certainly not new to riding.
Been biking since 1981 or something. I've used this forum for years as a source of info
and to check out what's going on in Godzone.

Had more bikes than I can remember. It all started out on a Suzuki T500.
Must have been a 1972 model or thereabouts. Went through the 80's and 90's on
everything from your run of the mill CB500 to the exclusive Italian brands.

Nowadays I practice a more sedate pace, hence the ride: BMW R1100RT.
Admired by many, hated by many more. Guess you have to be over 50 to
appreciate a comfortable bike that's easy on the ol' back.

Anyway, live in the Central Hawkes Bay area. PM me if you wanna have a coffee.

Happy riding under blue skies and please try to keep the rubber down.

Welcome Hans, the R1100RT was one suggested bike when I was looking a few months back, along with the FJ1300/ST1300 but ended up with a Triumph Tiger. Would have loved a K1200GT.
