Land in LA pick up the bike then likely Yosemite - Carson City - Highway 50 to Salt Lake City - Casper or Cheyenne to Rapid City...

Terrific weather... and the traffic, while starting to build up for the 75th Sturgis, is not yet difficult... a few more V8-engined bikes were seen...
