On semi stainless i won't use anything but Ferodo platinum. Given the slack wholesaler for Ferodo in NZ, it's either go ebay or get Budget to indent some for you...

Personally after using them I think the Platinums are crap which is why I bought in some Ferodo CP211 (now CP1) which I have yet to try, in the 08 on cast discs the best pad I've used is the Galfer green they also do a Galfer gold which is for Stainless only

ask sidecarbob what the special goldfrens jay used on the gsx were. I got a half worn set off jay and used then on my chair, they were too good for street tyres.

We got some compounds that were trade samples for testing & feedback prior to public release by the NZ wholesaler. They were the best pads we had used in Brembo calipers, but still not enough (for my guy anyway)
I can dig out a couple of used ones for you to test & sort out what the part number is.

On stainless I have been using EBC HH or SBS dual carbon almost soley in the last 10 years.

On one of my bikes the EBC's did seen a bit agressive on disc wear, and have been using a Mid level (ie above Platinum) HH style Ferodo pad "sintergrip" from memory as they have been lasting well,

though all my pads last a long time.....I'm not that agressive on the brakes

Levels and Ruapuna are hard on brakes. One of my customers was using sintered pads on a Z1 - they took nearly two laps of levels to warm up and were hard on the OE semi stainless discs.
What you finish up using as pads depends very much on what the discs are.

Probably GP6, very good race pads on std discs - ask Smudger, he was quite pleasantly surprised when he got his head around them
