I also did a $1 auction on my V Strom. Someone got a great buy! It was absolutely loaded with extras and worth a lot more than the price it settled for. But the extras don't usually add anything to the price and the market is loaded with second hand v stroms and the equivalent. Sometimes you are better off to just get it out the door before you have to start spending money on a bike you are trying to sell. For instance the batt was seven yrs old and it was coming into winter.
