They used to be nice boot, looks like they sold out and gone cheap...
Have primo pair of $260 Olivers paid for by work, in fact if you have to pay for work boots your working for the wrong guy these days....

I've had a couple of pairs of these in the past (not recently) and I really liked them. I'm going back to them.

Same for me, but when the quality of manufacture changed I found the Oliver 45-645C to be a better boot. Pop into NZ Safety and maybe confirm it for yourself. The composite toecap makes it a light yet compliant safety boot. Mine even do duty as hiking boots on occasion. Needless to say I always have more than one pair on the go...

I have Oliver 55245 with some kiwi black boot polish taking care of the ugly yellow Kevlar stitiching.
I have wide feet and find toe room fine.

I got 15 years out of my first pair. Awesome boots and very comfortable ( non steel caps ).
Got another 2 pair for $100 ( 50 per pair ) on sale couldn't believe it when I paid $300 for the one pair I got 15 years ago.

Holy smoke batman! The job where a pair of safety boots lasts 15 years...that's gotta be public service, involving a desk and a shiny bum in your pants surely?

True, it's a desk job but they weren't safety boots, more casual street wear boots. It's not like I wore them 24/7 for 15 years.
Apart from the sole wearing out the other most worn part was wear from all the gear changes on my bike(s).
I figure I've about 29 years left with my new ones before I get another lot!
