Yeah and then you'd get some truck missing a wheel digging a 100km trench in the only bit they laid right :laugh:

Still though, dreams are free. It would be nice to not have to worry about loose gravel being around just about every other corner, even on SH1.

Well first they should stop sealing more gravel roads. Guess what, more sealed roads to maintain the following year... :weird:

Brand new road, they put hot mix down. Couple of years later, with only minor issues, reseal the whole lot with chip seal. A month later it's worse than the hot mix. Whomever did Highbrook should have been laid in the road to be driven over...
