I have bought a drz400e with big bore kit, FMF header and FMF aftermarket can. The carb has been rejetted to suit the engine mods.

The bike is WAY too noisy for the city riding I do. I think the neighbours are plotting to break in and beat me to death in my sleep. So I'm wanting some advice on the cheapest/best way to quiet it down.

* Do I go back to stock exhaust? Will it necessary to rejet? Or will the aftermarket header still breath well enough with the stock exhaust to keep the fuel mix within range
* Do I get an exhaust shop to mod my FMF can?
* Do I get some sort of DB killer? The reviews on these seem pretty mixed.

Anyone wanting to swap a stock can?

Any feedback appreciated.

Quiet Insert for Powercore 4

The Quiet Insert will shush up the sound level of the Powercore 4 from about 99db down to about 94db.

Its how you ride it, if your gunning it, it will be noisy just take it easy around the built up areas.

A quiet insert will shut it up
