Have got me an endure bike and wonder what brand or type of radiator guards you fells think are the best and where I can get one?.

My bike has no bracing apart from the plastics and would like some sort of side protection and a brace to help protect from twisting back in impact.

Don't want to fuck a radiator with the price they are.

cheers klx450

they might fit, but i doubt it, the 09 was the first of the injected ones, the 08 KX450F would be close tho, as the KLX is based off it,

Here's some made for the KLX http://www.dold.co.nz/products/Emperor_Racing/Emperor_Racing_/Radiator_Guard.aspx
Any bike shop should be able to source them from the linked company.

Shame they don't do the radiator brace, those suckers are tough.

Or these https://forceaccessories.com.au/shop/kawasaki-category/kawasaki-klx-kxf-450-radiator-guards/
They have dealers in NZ who could source them.

I've used products from both companies, and have been impressed with the quality and longevity of both.

You mean like these that they call the radiator frame?.

If so I can get these in Invercargill but they just need to check they fit the 2015 model.

Yea, meant the radiator frame, not brace.

Pity they don't do those for the KLX, they're very tough.

you would need to go back to an 08 KX for something similar, not sure if the radiators are the same, the klx had a bigger tank, and i am pretty sure the radiator shrouds changed over,

As Scott has said, the KLX450 was kind of an enduro-ised KX450 from 07-08, and it hasnt changed since then.

You could email Emperor and ask, they would have had the bike there, why they didn't make KLX frames. Might be something as simple as using a different spacer arrangement, and different length bolts or something.
