The shop could work well if the customer bikes were cleared out of the shop itself and it became a LAMS specialist 2nd hand store.

Yep. I'd not be selling mine if it weren't for the fact I bought a Katana. Funnily enough, I'll be needing another 1200SS at a later date, as I want to mash the two together.

I could never understand the black on black paint job.
I remember seeing a blue and white one, which was great...

But a retro Herron Suzuki paint job would be awesome

Yep. Cheers. Will have to pay Kiwifreight next week when the Kat arrives. Broke till then. Will assess it and see if I can make a goer of it with the std GSX1000 engine, or whether it's better to transplant an oil cooled lump into it. It's just that it's cheaper to get big HP out of an oil cooled lump. But if the Katana is actually sound...I may decide to run with it as it is.

Very underrated bikes the 1200ss. $3500 - lot of bike for the money.
I owned one when they came out - had the factory titanium Yoshi system :-)

I know exactly how you feel, it will take ages, another few months and I will be on the road proper.
just keep the rego going on hold, the insurance is a pain.

nice - is it a left hand drive? :bleh:
I was referring to the bike(not type specific) AND to the injury
start the ball rolling, otherwise you'll never get it started

Lol. My left hand is the only one I can fully use right now!
Ball is dribbling along slowly. I have too many other things I need to do first as well.

Opposite of me - Right hand is ok, too many things like KB?..... can only do very short trips on bike at present, but at least I can ride now. Recovery takes longer than it used to.
Always did like the Katana's when they came out.
