I'm using their 20/50 Classic, it's got heaps of zinc. Dunno why you'd want a 20/50 synth.

Not me, I use eni i-RIDE MOTO SAE 10W-40.
I don't think I'd use anything made by Aegis, and my bike needs JASO MA at least for the wet clutch and I see no JASO classification on that label.

Why should the cylinder configuration have any bearing on the oil classification? I recall old air cooled Ducatis used a single weight or (?) spec but surely that was about the operating temperature, bearing design and oil flow and filtering rather than it was a V twin.

V-twin oil is marketing shit. They have found a market to tap into for V twin owners with a suitable oil weight.
Brand X 15/50 or suitable 'V-twin' weight becomes brand X V-Twin 15/50 and fuck me that must be better than brand Y 15/50.

Used to use 50w H-D oil in my iron-head Sporty 'cos the book said.
Switched to 20-50w and had no issues and easier starting in cold weather.

Why should the cylinder configuration have any bearing on the oil classification?
Not the cyl configuration, more valve count and actuation - pushrod 2 valve. A lot more valve train weight than more modern designs.
