I unfortunately have found myself in a bit of financial strife and need to pull some asset value from out of somewhere :weep:

So reluctantly I am putting my beautiful Blade out there for a new owner.

I bought her about two years ago from a fellow kiwibiker who was using it as a track bike.
I have since had it re-complied.
I have fitted a new fairing kit, had the tank painted, bought a new headlamp, replaced the back brake pads, fitted a rear seat replacement cover thingy (still have the original rear seat), replaced the brake fluid,
replaced the clutch basket, blue shorty levers, blue tinted screen, blue fairing kit bolts, blue swingarm spools.
just had an oil and filter change.
It also comes with a spare matt black/metallic blue fairing kit which looks pretty good from a distance(just don't look to close).
The odometer hit 99999 a couple of weeks ago and then stopped counting any further (seems to be a thing with some of these bikes) I have put on about another 1500 ks since then.
Just put 6 months rego on it and will be passed on with a brand new Wof when/if someone buys it.
feel free to carjam it the rego is A2PBF.

I love this bike and I am sure is a future classic and am saddened to be in this position.

I am putting it up as a SWAP since I still need a form of transport.
I would be open to swap for something 600cc and over either sports or touring plus $2000 my way.

Although I am open to negotiation.

Don't be shy - what you got?

= edit - I value the bike at about $6500 =

Would someone require a 2012 gsxr600 low km plus 2k cash or a 1988 Bros in poor condition and high km plus 2k?
You need state the cash value you think the bikes value is.

I think for this time of year the value is a bit high.
Low km 929rr is 6.3 and he is asking to much also.

There is some 2005 era 1k bikes medium km for 6k mark at the moment.
Its a nice looking bike though.
The problem with comparison pricing is that half the tardme listings don't sell until prices are dropped.
What you could do is drop price down around 5-5.5 and get a cheaper bike after.
There is some deals around 3k also to be had.
Getting the 6.5 could happen but someone will up their trade value to do it.

Your in the same range as this kind of thing with pricing.

ok, so its the gs125 + $500.

You don't have to come up with the $500 straight away, you can pay it off at $100 a week if you like.

You could finally stop parting out your bike and have a bike to ride.

To birds one stone.

Given the history of the bike and the higher mileage I wouldn't pay any more than $3K for it. Last Japanese bike I purchased was an 05 CBR1000RR with 50km for $5,000, hadn't been used as a track bike either.

Your best bet is to tardme it at 5k and include may trade up to 3k and see who wants to upgrade or upsize their bike.
Its possible to get a good deal off someone with a 600-750 they want to upsize.
Don't run auction if your going to consider trades as it will get complicated.
Don't include the spare fairing set in the listing. Sell those after as they wont increase its value.

Some great advice there. Listen to the man.

Nice bike, always wanted one since my mates Dad had one when I was a lad.
I agree they are a future classic, would need to be the right example though :)
