In the email, on the website and here, no one has mentioned who these new sponsors are?

Good on them though, whoever they may be!

Keen to go along to at least one, although October weather is rather hit or miss...

We are just waiting for the contracts to be signed off and get the advertising materials so we can brand..... Let me hint though and there is a fantastic bike shop involved that has backed us before... A couple of related major bike brand importers who will be bringing along their outlets and a high profile safety gear supplier along with an insurance company... so for the meantime a few things to guess

What I will say is that these guys have got together to make this work.

Counting down to Saturday, the long range forecast is looking good :sunny:

I believe there are still spots available in all groups so get your entry forms in to Colleen and come along and have some fun :ride:

Update: Only 1 spot left in Group 3, and only a few left in Group 2. Group 1 and Group 4 still have spots available as well.

Weather is looking good (https://www.google.co.nz/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=weather%20forecast%20hampton%20downs) Not going to be overheating in those leathers but not going to be cold either!!!

Be great to see the new season kick off, more affordable then ever as well thanks to the sponsors being onboard.

Entry forms can be found here (http://amcc-dev.org.nz/index.php/menu-ridertraining/entry-forms.html)

Guys,
We are only a couple of days away now.

Group 1 - The beginners group, still have a few places,
Group 2 was full but I know there is some room with a couple pulling out with issues,
Group 3 is very tight and
Group 4, the fast track day guys, still have room

Contact Colleen (mailto:colleenryanthompson@gmail.com)if you are interested, trust me it's worth it, or visit the site for entry forms (http://amcc-dev.org.nz/index.php/menu-ridertraining/entry-forms.html) to get to Colleen.

These are great fun and top value. Not racing at all, just you getting to ride on Hampton Downs without cars coming the other way. Marshals and instructors on the track with you to give guidance and make sure everybody is playing by the rules.

This is not open track and go nuts. Learners are welcome, group 1 is the perfect place to learn some open road skills.

Second session I've been to (last one in Feb) and another great day! Couple of showers in the morning so a slow first session, followed by oil + an ambulance but got a full afternoon out of it. Only 2 offs in G2 all day on turn 5 and 6 within 2 laps of each other. Both were fine. Everyone in G2 was friendly and great (I was the blue ninja with the muzzy exhaust), almost kept up with the 2015 R1 on the straight (yes, he was taking it very easy) and most importantly honed some skills. Didn't have any moments myself, but I now want a track bike..

Hope that guy is okay by the way, sounded like a very unlucky off.
