Daam...
It's been a while.
To start - Kiwibiker has a spell checker? Shot!
Okay so take a browse if you wish through my old posts, pretty much the story of a wannabe biker getting his first road bike, loving every second of it. Taking huge rides around the North Island and many many many rides around the twisties.
Regretfully around five years ago I sold "Indie" - my CBR250RR. Honestly, I don't know why. Money I guess.
But now - The biker boy is back! YUSS!
2001 Yamaha YZFR6 on the way!
Can't wait. It'll be awesome to catch up with everyone on here (if the old buggers are still online). Keen to go on many many many more club rides and ask far too many questions!

Mate - one of my best rides ever! Never seen those pics before. Cheers for sharing those!
EDIT: Can still remember riding on the way back leaned over on every STRAIGHT ROAD because the cross winds were so strong!

I'd hope that at least one person will reply with a "CONGRATS BRUDDA!"
I've FINALLY taken ownership of a fine example of a 2001 Yamaha YZF-R6N, 23,000KM. Beautiful. Not a single scratch or stone chip, just a few smudge marks on the tank from the knees. Took ownership Thursday, already stripped her down to replace the sparkies, oil, and oil filter. Air filter seemed fine however since I have no service record Cycletreads recommend a replacement (he screwed his face up when I said the old shop vac clean up did the trick). Tyres are okay.... however with under 3mm I'll be looking for a replacement soon (any tips please).
Long story short guys it's just f*****g awesome to be a biker again and I can't bloody wait to hit the open road again. It's been too long. Way too long.
Expect to see me at many of the Kiwibiker events.
