The CAMS Southern Classic Festival 2015 is on again December 4th to 6th at Levels Raceway Timaru.

A huge thanks to our major sponsors - First European, Bike Rider Magazine, Pub Charity, Port FM, The Southern Trust, Caxton Press and Biketranz.

And also our Race Class Sponsors - Repsol, Dole Fruit, Castrol, NZ Cylinders, Jeff Marshall Motorcycles, Dynoworx, Timaru Yamaha, Motorcycle Exhaust Specialist, Timaru Metal Recyclers, Vapour Blasting South Cantery Ltd, DID Racing Chains, Marshland Engineering, Roger O'Regan, British Motorcycle Parts.


Same format, race classes and attitude plus heaps of track time that made last years event such a fun relaxed event.
Some classes reached capacity last year so get your entries in.

Basic camping allowed on site again this year for riders and crew only.
Track bar open every night. BBQ for all Sat Night.

We have a few names from past already confirmed for the Past Masters parade class- details TBC

There is a much bigger covered area this year for the popular bike display. Got a cool classic/post classic era race bike, road bike, Dirt bike etc let us know through the CAMS website www.cams-racing.org.nz Free entry to approved display bikes.

...you have been watching my progressive rise from a quick slow to just, slow , haven't you...it will be about 75 years old and runs at the moment, very shiny though, which is worth 10 points...

:2thumbsupAaaaawwww ouch well after the day I've had on my trail bike that is supposed to be brand new that has had more problems than the titanic I am going to get my 28 year old bike out of the shed and change the oil and go race.
Gotta be something said for older machinery that has built to last quality:lol:.

Both my bikes r ready too except I rooted my rear slick on the big bike in three practice sessions at the burt. managed to turn it around for race day, but then it pissed down so didn't run it. So itl be there with good left side.
Jeez teretonga is hard on tires if its not set up perfect. Don't think I will take slicks back there again. haven't had a problem at ruapuna.
Hopefully have better weather at levels. :headbang:

Only two sleeps ( or two sleepless nights for the organising team :)

Weather will be great, forecast changes every couple of hours so they have no idea.

Still room for more display bikes if any one has room for another bike in the van or trailer.

:clap::2thumbsup Top job CAMS, what a great weekend. It's so cool to camp up and have plenty of track time over the three days. Hope it'll be on the cards again next year. Well done and thanks to all who make it happen.

For the benefit of the young'uns, the old coot (younger than me....) in the Levis leathers is John Boote.
