Hi All
Recently got my learners and am now looking for a first bike. Various people I know / work with have mentioned the GN250 as a great starter bike, so I've been hunting for a suitable one. So far I've viewed and test ridden two different GNs. One is a 2004 model with ~22,000k and the other is a 2007 model with ~18,000k. The 2004 model seems to be in better condition (bar some cosmetics which I don't really mind about) but took a bit to get going, cold. Had to open the choke and give it a bit of revs to get it going. The 2007 model was more worn, had significantly more rust around the engine / chrome parts and I noticed that when pushing down on handles while the front break was applied there was a creaking noise (not sure if that's suspension or breaks). Both bikes were fine during the test ride. So, my question is, if I was to buy one of those, which should I buy? The 2004 was going for 2.2k and the 2007 for 2k. OR, should I hold out for a better bike.
Thanks in advance
