Bucket of the Month - September 2015- Glens H100

Bucket of the month is back after a winter break - Thanks to Shaun Benson for the Photo's.

This bike has a lot of history in the Wellington Bucket Scene.
Glen has racked up lots of races on it since he put it together, many of them have ended with him at the front.

The engine was originally from a Honda H100 that Dave Trustrum built to make some decent power.
This was fitted with the MB50 gearbox to move from 4 to 6 gears and has had extensive porting work.
Glen purchased this some years ago and set about giving it a new home in an RGV250 frame.

He replaced the rear rim with the front wheel from a CBR600 to give a cheap, lightweight solution. He used his machining skills to add a brake disk and caliper from a mountain bike and to make the sprocket fitment work.

He's spent some time improving the engine further, it's now running a better ignition and making a few more horsepower. It's got an RS125 pipe fitted which seems to work very well in this application.

It's not the most powerful bike on the grid, nor the best handling but it's got enough good points for Glen to use his talent to win many a race on it.

Scarily there is still potentially more speed to be found in this good all-rounder, we are certainly likely to continue seeing it on the front row in future events, even in the face of newer, faster builds.
